How can I help?

Anticipatory Grief
Saying Goodbye
Dealing with death
Life after loss

I myself experienced what is known as anticipatory grief as I began to lose Kodi. It is the grief that exists before loss but as you realise that the time is coming, it can especially affect those with sick or elderly pets but overall anyone can suffer from it.

I am here to help you process this grief and allow you to enjoy those final months, week, days and hours to their fullest until your journey together closes.

Saying goodbye is a difficult time because it also raises other issues, such as how it might affect the household if you have other pets. When your pet passes how will you deal with practicalities, such as cremation, burial, what is right for you and your family.

I am here to help you through this difficult time. I am an independent voice in the fog of emotion and here to help you find your way.

When the time finally comes, we never know how we will react. Often we are caught unawares either by the circumstances in which your loved one has passed or just because we hadn’t realised feelings and emotions that we might have buried and they blindside us as they begin to emerge.

The little things are often the things that set off the tears and emotional overloads and I am here to help guide you through.

When have we grieved too long? How much grief is appropriate? Shouldn’t I just have a stiff upper lip and get on with things?

All these questions can arise, and more, when we are suffering. Often other people have opinions too, on when we should move on, get a new pet, clear out things belonging to our passed pet.

You can face so many things you didn’t expect and I will be here to help you face them.

What do I offer?

I work with you to facilitate your healing, it is your journey and personal to you, no two journeys are the same and how you need to process the passing of your beloved pet is entirely right for you.
